EVERY PERSON'S STORY MATTERS

Stories of Impact

Stories of Impact abound at CCFW… A young mother needing help with school. A veteran struggling with the effects of war. A husband and father looking for employment. We serve tens of thousands in our 28 county diocese each year and their stories serve as our greatest source of inspiration.

Our goal is to make an impact in the lives of each and every person we serve. Watch below to see the difference our work has made in the lives of our fellow community members.

In 2006, we established our Transportation Services, one of four social enterprises that fill a specific need in our community while creating additional revenue that is invested back into our programs. This program ensures that lack of reliable transportation is not a barrier for individuals to reach employment, critical medical appointments, and more.

Help us continue to provide innovative (and vital) services like our social enterprises by giving to Creating Hope: bit.ly/socialmatch10K!

Our Northwest Campus was founded in 2014 because we identified a unique need in Northwest Texas. We realized that rural communities face different barriers, so we established a local branch of CCFW in Wichita Falls. Programs/services have included clinical counseling referrals, strategic financial assistance, case management for low-income individuals and families, veterans services, and the Rural Vocation program which supports college students and helps them overcome barriers to graduation.

Want to support our Northwest Services? Give anytime through December 8th at bit.ly/2HfkSTJ.

Since the 1970s, we have served as a refugee resettlement agency, helping individuals and families fleeing violence and persecution. Our Refugee Services program began in response to the Vietnam War. We felt called to act, to welcome the stranger. We stand by refugees not only through their initial transition to the U.S. but also through the years to come as they build a brighter future for their families.

We're three weeks away from our virtual Creating Hope on December 8th! Have you RSVP'd yet? Grab your free ticket today at bit.ly/creatinghope2020!

In the 1930s, Catholic Charities opened St. Teresa's Home (pictured below) to house and educate orphaned children. Their first building was located on Maddox St. in Fort Worth. St. Teresa's expanded over the years, remaining a core aspect of the agency's work.

We have been serving Fort Worth and surrounding communities for more than a century now. Our history holds 110 years of learning, innovation, and impact.

Can you give $110 to the next 110 years of service? Our Creating Hope campaign is live at bit.ly/creatinghope2020.
