Stories of Impact

Stories of Impact abound at CCFW… A young mother needing help with school. A veteran struggling with the effects of war. A husband and father looking for employment. We serve tens of thousands in our 28 county diocese each year and their stories serve as our greatest source of inspiration.

Our goal is to make an impact in the lives of each and every person we serve. Watch below to see the difference our work has made in the lives of our fellow community members.

Meet Sam! Did you know our VITA program helps low-income families prepare their taxes at this time of year? Sam is one of the volunteers that makes this program possible. He went the extra mile this year, taking an extra IRS exam in order to fill his position as Alternate Site Coordinator.

Sam, thank you so much for being there for our clients. Your dedication means a lot to our agency! #volunteerappreciation

Our agency would not run smoothly without the generosity and dedication of our incredible volunteers! This month we want to highlight a few special people who keep us on the #pathway to ending poverty.

This is Frances. Frances joined our volunteer team last August, but she has already gone above and beyond in providing cards of encouragement to our clients through our Card Writing Project, as well as providing donations to our Christmas Angels project in December. Thank you, Frances! #volunteerappreciation
