At Catholic Charities Fort Worth, our clients come from all walks of life. From the working poor in our own backyard to refugees fleeing violence and persecution half a world away. Marzieh tells her story of being forced to leave her home country, living in limbo for 13 years, and finally being accepted to the U.S. as a refugee. But she still struggled to find her way. Because refugees face additional barriers on their journey out of poverty, we designed a program to meet their unique needs. This is Marzieh’s story.
